Literacy and Numeracy

Literacy plays a very important role in our program as well. Our goal is for children to recognize and learn the basic concepts such as letters, numbers and shapes.

Like literacy, numeracy starts in the very early years. Children need to know not only numbers, but also sizes (big and small/ tall and short), quantity (full, empty, half-full), order (first, second, last), just to name a few.  By numeracy and literacy we are building the foundation that will prepare children for school.
