We tackled another project: black and white. We were talking about how many black-and-white animals we know, which led us to ‘contrast’. Children used many types of media creating the patterns inspired by these animals. When they were working with black and white slime, they accidentally mixed it together, finding out that by combining these two colours they created a brand new colour – grey.
We now continue to experiment with the white to see where it leads us. They have already found out that adding different amounts of white, they can create many shades of a given colour.
